Dr. Tendai Charles

Dr. Tendai Charles

Assistant Professor Member of the Centre for Research in Digital Education, Faculty of Education British University in Dubai

<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif; color: rgb(74, 74, 74);">Dr. Charles holds a PhD in Education from the University of York and has taught at multiple Russell Group universities in the UK. Currently, he works as an Assistant Professor of Education at the British University in Dubai, and is a member of the Centre for Research in Digital Education. He is a post-positivist researcher who has numerous publications pertaining to Technology Enhanced Learning, and for the past two years he has been heavily engaged with training teachers, instructors and faculty on the effective use of artificial intelligence in the UAE’s education sector.</span>

Dr. Pred Evans

Assistant Dean International Affairs Thamassat University

Dr. Pred Evans, originally from Wales in the UK, is Assistant Dean for International Affairs, and Director of the BA in Social Policy and Development International Programme at the Faculty of Social Administration, Thammasat University, Thailand.\ \ \ Dr. Evans has worked in the field of education in East and Southeast Asia for the last 28 years.  He has fifteen years of management experience in the British Council, the UK’s international organisation for education and cultural relations, in Japan (Schools Exchanges Manager), Trinidad and Tobago (Country Manager), and Thailand (Director of Education and Director of Programmes). \ Dr. Evans holds a Bachelor and Master’s degree in French language and literature from the University of Oxford, and a Master’s degree in Education from the Open University. His doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, focussed on competition and collaboration in the internationalisation of higher education in Thailand.
